At The Sanctuary we need all the possible help we can get. Below are some of the ways in which you can help us.

Become a Friend of Redgate

As a Friend of Redgate you will receive a membership card, be invited to join us in our fund raising activities and receive free admission to our Open Days. You will also recieve our regular Newsletter keeping you up to date with new arrivals, rehoming of animals and details of all our forthcoming events!

Volunteering

We are always in need of help from volunteers at The Sanctuary. We don't expect a huge commitment, just the odd hour here and there. This would be very helpful and much appreciated.
Examples of assistance we require:
Dog walking
Small animal care
Working with horses and other farm animals
Mucking out and feeding
Brushing and grooming
Help in the Cafe and Shops

Sponsor an Animal

Help to keep the animals healthy and happy by sponsoring one for a year. You will receive a copy of our Newsletter and a certificate of sponsorship.

Minimum of £10.00 per animal per year

Fruit and Veg Donations

We like to provide our animals with a varied diet which includes fruit and vegetables. These can be kitchen scraps, unwanted apples, overripe bananas or anything you have to spare. This is valuable enrichment for the Goats, Peacock and the Turkey in particular. Also our resident Rodents enjoy a grape or pineapple cube!

Newspaper and shredded paper

We are always in need of newspaper and shredded paper to use as bedding for the dogs, rabbits, chickens and rodents. Any you have will be gratefully received!
